Quilting<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After making many quilts, I&#8217;m surprised to discover I can&#8217;t quilt a straight line without guiding marks.\u00a0 Thankfully I have several washable marking options to use.\u00a0 My favorites for this quilt are Clover\u00ae White Marking Pen and IBC\u00ae Fine Tip Pen.\u00a0 Both are water erasable.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This year&#8217;s resolution has me making an effort to quilt each day.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve found on some days, I&#8217;ve set aside too much time and end up so tired, it&#8217;s difficult to slip into the thimble the following day.\u00a0 The resolution has helped though&#8230; whereas the last 2 quilts each took nearly a year to quilt, this one is over a fourth done and it&#8217;s only been in the frame for three weeks.\u00a0 Not bad, especially when considering I&#8217;ve been doing extra cooking and cleaning too (more New Year&#8217;s resolutions).\u00a0 If only I could be as successful at losing weight!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">So glad to finally see some sunshine after days and days of drippy, gray weather.\u00a0\u00a0 Our temperature is still frigid (for East Texas) but a blue sky is always a welcomed sight.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Shirl<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; After making many quilts, I&#8217;m surprised to discover I can&#8217;t quilt a straight line without guiding marks.\u00a0 Thankfully I have several washable marking options to use.\u00a0 My favorites for this quilt are Clover\u00ae White Marking Pen and IBC\u00ae Fine Tip Pen.\u00a0 Both are water erasable.
